Failure House
(Event, 2011)
In association with the Sober & Lonely Institute for Contemporary Art. The project is using the theme of failure
as a starting point.

Plateau's Problem
(music video, 2011)
Buskers have been asked to improvise a song about Joseph Plateau, after having received sumiere information on the life of this Belgian physicist and mathematician. The video was part of an exhibition around this historical figure in Lisboa, Portugal.

Failed Collaborations
(video, 2011)
Film about (and in collaboration with) Lauren Von Gogh and Audrey Cottin in which the reasons for their many failing attempts to make art together are tried to be unveiled.

Duet
(ongoing video project, 2010-2011)
Together with Hedwig Houben. The work originates from an exchange of extracted audio from video tracks. After the first part is shot, the audio is extracted from the video, passed on to the other artist and reinterpreted. By doing this, a new
video track is created that corresponds to the same sound. After this the interpreter films a new part and again the audio
is extracted, given back, and so on.

Mind Game
(performance, radio game, 2010)
The artist's thoughts are read by a specialist while the artist is looking at images, trying to make something and listening to music.




Cursing and Blessing the Gallery
(action, documentary pictures, 2010)
A spiritual practitioner was hired to consecrate the
right part of the space using white magic. The left part was
cursed with the use of black magic.

Chance Operation

Free Sand
(installation, 2010)
On the grounds of an art festival ten cubic meters of dune sand is placed and offered for free on several public
websites. This kind of sand is often used as a substrate for tiling and pavements.

Woman, Voice, Car, Horn
(performance, video, 2010)
At the time a car horn is heard an opera singer sings a corresponding tone.

Stereo Accident
(performance, 2009)
Two glasses of wine fall on the exhibition floor at the exact same moment.

Dog and Dance
(video, 2009)
A classical ballet starts and stops in time to the sound of a barking dog.




Small Massive Buckets (trying the trick of scale, duplication and defunctionalising)
(sculptures, 2009)
Attempt to make successful work based on observations by searching for underlying aesthetic rules in contemporary art.


Love / Art
(performance, video, installation, 2009)
Covers of songs where the word 'Love' is replaced by the word 'Art'. Song titles include: 'Bye Bye Art', 'Wake Up And Make Art', 'Let There Be Art' and 'Art Is The Drug'.

Game
(installation, 2008-2009)
Game to be played (and artwork to be completed) by visitors of the exhibition. A 100 euro bill hangs five meters in the air. Some supplies and a set of rules are provided so that visitors can attempt to take the money.

Stunt
(performance, 2006-2009)
Preparation for a stunt. In the first version, a jump ramp and a ring of fire were placed in the water. The performance took place during a festival in a park in Breda. A second version was done at Art Brussels and at SMBA in Amsterdam during the 2008 Museum Night. A third version took place during the Playground Festival at STUK in Leuven.

Federer - Nadal, Heiliger - Bill

A tennis match is linked to sculptures in a park by similar camera movements.
